…these experiences are all rooted in carefully crafted strategies you developed in the past in order to survive in a less than optimal environment. Our developmental nature is to hold on to the somatic, emotional and cognitive patterns that were once helpful even when the original stressors are gone and our responses no longer provide the best solutions. I offer you a gentle yet containing presence and an everlasting curiosity in befriending the painful patterns you carry by helping you utilize familiar and new resources that will increase your capacity of resiliency and flexibility in the face of challenges. On this journey of self-discovery, led by our shared non-judgmental, mindful curiosity, we learn about how you are present in the world in relation to yourself and to the loved ones around you and find ways to transform what feels like surviving into thriving in your life.
